Shelby is rockin 1st grade! She started her 3rd week today and ACED her 1st spelling AND Math test last week! She's also been in the Chipmunk club both weeks too (excellent behavior)! She LOVES school like I always did! I hope she has as much fun as I used to and that it continues on for years to come.
She also started back dance last week for her 5th year of dance and 2nd year on the competition team. This year she's competing in Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop! She's sooo excited and LOOVES the Hip Hop class! She also loves that she has Miss RandeeJo and Miss karen again! OH we can't forget she LOVES her technique class by Miss Lauren! :) She keeps asking if she will get to dance in "tippee toe shoes" one day.... she means Pointe shoes :). lol...

It was Blue and Gold day in Magnolia on Tuesday so every year, Aug. 25th will be Blue & Gold Day for Magnolia! It was awesome to see all the elementary kids and teachers supporting SAU that day! :)
Bubby & Shelby hung out w/ Mammy & PopPop while we worked Blue & Gold Day and they had a blast... bubby loves his PopPop!
So i'm LOVING getting shelby's papers from school and I'm composing a 1st Grade book like I did for her Kindergarten year. This past week they did an illustrated book and wrote about My Very Nicest Place and look what was shelby's 1st entry! :) SHE LOVES Mr. Alan and Shaw Performance Horses. It's her favorite part of the week. The ONLY issue we are having, and I welcome ANY advice, is that she will not talk to him. JUST Him. She has to start talking to him in order for him to progress in teaching her. She's learned so quickly that he has a lot more he wants to work on but he can't unless she communicates. We've NEVER had this issue w/ shelby and if you know her, you probably think I'm making this up! LOL... so anyway... we are working on it.. :)
Here's our smarty pants 1st 100% on her 1st Spelling and Math tests.
We went to SAU Chick-fil-A to eat and the kids loved walkin around campus....Rhett especially! haha
