Merry Christmas from the Kee's

I always enjoy making and designing our Christmas cards and participating in Faith's Christmas Card Carousel!! This year was fun because we went to Branson over the Thanksgiving holiday and got "festive" pictures from Silver Dollar City. I LOVE how everyone's personality is portreyed perfectly!
I pray everyone has an amazing Christmas and remembers that Jesus is the reason we celebrate, not the gifts under the tree but the gift from above!
here's few more festive pics from our December so far... The Burton's and the Kee's are all coming to town today so watch out Magnolia!
Our annual SAU Celebration of Lights picture with Santa! Rhett wasn't too sure about him so all Santa got was a Hi 5 from Rhett. No picture ahah

made a pretty little village piece for our dining room table

Rhett's first time at Ms. Megan's while mommy and daddy had a Christmas office party. He had a blast!

Celebrating with her buddy, Kymber, for her birthday at school with a special lunch

Rhett got pneumonia and was down Wednesday night til Sunday night :( we are on the mend now..

1st Grade Chipmunk class Christmas party success!

a day home w/ my sick little buddy was good for my soul but was sad to see him feel bad :(

presents? wow! Gigi and Gramps left gifts and Rhett will destroy them before it's even time to open!

my favorite boys!

my mother brought me the most precious gift.. my grandmother made this and my mom displayed it every Christmas in the front dining room window. It's probably over 100 years old and now I have the honor to display it in my home every season!

Busy Kee's

We have had a busy few weeks and will continue to have a busy few weeks until school is out and then the Christmas festivities begin! Between our schedule and Mr. Alan's, shelby's only been able to ride once since Color Congress in Tulsa. We went out last weekend and she warmed up on Badger but moved up to a BEAUTIFUL boy named Eddie. He was amazing and shelby did well on him. "It takes some time to get to know each other's buttons," Mr. Alan said but they did well.  It was a beautiful day at Shaw Performance Horses! We haven't been able to ride this week and hope to soon.

We got shelby's professional pictures back from Color Congress and they're FANTASTIC! She looks soo grown!

Shelby enjoys Elements Choir at our church and they sang some of their Christmas program for the local assisted living home, Dudneywood. She and her buddy Rebecca had a great time!

It was a little chilly over the weekend so we bathed Max and he got to come in and that night in particular we let him sleep inside all night.  Needless to say, it was like having a 3rd FRISKY CHILD! He hunted an opossum at 2am and didn't want to sleep after that.  Rhett LOVED having him inside and he would just giggle and run as max did too.

#ChristmaswiththeKees

It's that time of year again! My FAVORITE holiday and decorating season! Don't misunderstand me, I LOVE all things Christmas, decorating, etc...but the TRUE REASON I LOVE CHRISTMAS is because it's the celebration of the greatest birthday ever, Jesus Christ! I LOVE celebrating His birth and so that's why I go all out when it comes to Christmas! He deserves "all out!"
We started decorating Sunday after morning worship and are contining to do so. We put up 3 trees; 9ft, 6ft and shelby's little 3 ft. tree. I found an orange 3ft tree for Rhett's room in Little Rock, but he's NOT QUITE ready for that yet so I opted out of it this time.
We're going for a "Country Christmas" kinda look this year. I LOVE Burlap and so we are incorporating it in the decor. I LOVE how our great room tree turned out. We used only the old ornaments and "country-ish" ornaments on it. The dining room tree is our "family tree" that has the ones shelby's made, the kids favorite ornaments, the "firsts" ornaments, and a hodge podge really of those that we've been given by family and friends since we married ALMOST 11 years ago Dec. 11th. Shelby decorated her tree all her own again and she's gonna add her favorite teeny beeny babies to it as well.
Here ya go...
we've still got to decorate the kitchen, bathrooms, and front door but so far so good!

this was our engagement picture taken back in the spring of 2003

Rhett LOVES the "Choo Choo" and bell ornaments so I hung them down on his level. The dining room tree also has mostly the "non-breakable" ones that if there were any to break, it wouldn't be total devastation.

I LOOVE how the great room tree turned out. It's pretty even when the lights aren't on!
 Our foyer entry- way table

I may or may not have had a meltdown doing the mantel this year... lol

My tree collection is one of my favorite pieces. There's soo many memories with these.

 Can't wait to finish up!!!
