Cotton Country champion

Last weekend Shelby had her open show in Ruston, Cotton Country Open Horse Show Association. She did so well and we are so so proud of her! Her passion and drive are inspiring and I admire her so much! She won 1st in ALL of her classes but one and she placed 3rd overall in it w/ ADULTS...It was a nice weekend but on Sunday it was COLD COLD COLD!!
The Kids had a blast and when we came home tired, they came home energized! haha....

Easter 2017

What a busy and wonderful week of Easter we had!
We started Good Friday off w/ school and then after school we all went to give Hershey special treats and a good brushing and massage 'cause it was her birthday! She's now 15! :) Happy Bday Hershey!

Rhett also got to have some fun w/ PopPop...

Our babies looked soo cute Easter morning at church. We cannot believe how grown they are becoming. We decided to take pics of them w/ Sprinkles, the kids bunny.

We were involved in our church Easter production, His Story. It was weeks/months of preparation and well worth the work! If ONE life was touched, which I KNOW there was, then it was worth all of the hard work and long hours.

Sooo many talented people came together to make these 2 nights possible and to portray the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Paint the Future

What an amazing weekend!
We all traveled to Waco, Texas for a big APHA horse show.  We had never been to this show and expected it to be "Texas-sized" and it was! It was an amazing 3 day show (we only showed Saturday & Sunday) and had the best of the best there! Shelby was the youngest but MANY years and held her own! She was Top 5 in all her classes but one (which I think she should've been 3rd in but it is what it is.... politics do play a part in everything IMO) and she won a $200 APHA scholarship to use towards any college/university she chooses at graduation!

We also had some down-time and we got to go to Magnolia Farms/The Silos!! It was sooo awesome and a great family environment!

Such an amazing, memorable weekend w/ our family! Who would've thought 2 years ago we would be on this journey?! Shelby began riding and took her first lesson 2 years ago April 9th.
