Wow, so i've done it AGAIN....blog neglect... sooo sorry....i hate that i keep doing this not because anyone really reads this but because this is supposed to be my digital journal/scrapbook/memory book and i'm now behind. :(  ugghhhh....so...here's catch-up...
this weekend Crosspoint sang in Shreveport, LA's Shreveport Municipal Auditorium where NUMEROUS stars have sang on the exact stage they did including Elvis, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynne, etc.... infact, they changed and got ready in the very same dressing room Elvis did!! Very COOL!
Isn't it gorgeous?????

Shelby and I were playing while "DaaDee" practiced with the guys.....
 DaaDee being silly!
Here's a video of one of the songs the guys sing....it's Brian singing lead this time...i just love this song...well I love ALL their songs! LOL i'm such a groopie!

(Hope this video works....if not, it's posted on my FB Timeline)
They sang at the Municipal Auditorium at a benefit for the Shreveport/Bossier Firefighters Association. It was awesome to hear how these men and women daily lay their lives down for others.. there were also 3 amazing groups we know as well that sang too (InHim, Heaven's Echoes, and The Voyagers).  We were sad to leave our singing friends but had a blast and will see them again soon! It's sooo great, as some of the singers and I talked about, how Josh and I were so out of the loop as far as seeing these people he sang with for 10 years to not seeing them at all hardly and now seeing them sooo often! God is good!
From Shreveport, we traveled, that night, to Hope, AR where the guys sang Sunday Morning and Sunday Night at Unity Baptist Church in Hope, AR.   It was such a warm, welcoming church! I love the people there and how unbelievably kind and generous they are! Shelby had a blast and enjoyed herself too! lol
It was a loooonnnggg weekend but at least ONE LIFE WAS SAVED this weekend!! Praise God! This is why we do this ministry! Thank You Lord for opening this door and the continuous doors You place into our lives! We are sad when we aren't on the road! lol...
Here's somemore weekend pics....
this was on the way to her favorite fella's house friday night (Brian, the tenor singer)...prior to her saying the ENTIRE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE WITH CORRECT WORDS AND ALL! LOL..... she also sang a million songs too!
We had some time to kill and so it was a must to visit the Easter Bunny. HAha she loved him and said she loved him more than Santa! She told everyone, "I sat on his couch and he was sooo fuzzy AND he Hugged me!!" hahaa...her vocabulary astounds us!!
About to head home..stopped for a bite....boy are we tired....lol...
Ok so that was the weekend....here's the week so far...
SOMETHING, we think slugs, is eating our flowers we  planted and Sheebee isn't happy!

Sassy is still alive...lol...however Sassy Pants HATE ME and bites me daily....i think she's stressed..lol.... Shelby says at least 500x a day, "I still want a cat and a fish. A black and orange cat and an orange fish in a bowl, please." lol.. love the "please" she adds..lol..i think we've got the cat things covered if we can convince DaaDee within the next 5-6 weeks while this lil darling gets bigger... my friend, Lydia, has had 2 litters of kittens and is giving us one of our choice..this is Shelby's Choice:...i think Kallie Kee would be cute!!
Our favorite past-time/family adventure, is going to visit the SAU Farm.  We are sooo thankful to have animals we can go visit anytime with yummy veggies and apples whenever we want and NOT HAVE TO BRING THEM HOME!
Shelby met a dance buddy, who's momma is a sorority sis of mine too!

Donkey was making a funny face! lol I have such a soft-spot for donkey's! LOL.. don't ask why..i just do!

I think it's sOOOOO vital to shelby's development and education that she be outside because i learn visually, and she may not, but I want to stimulate her lil sponge of a brain as much as i can so yesterday, we had a great adventure outside in the backyard before the rain and scary weather came...which i'm gonna talk about more in a bit...this is a long post y'all....hope you are still alive at this point..lol....

Isn't the moth she found beautiful!?  She cried when it flew off after she helped it dry it's wings from the previous rain.  I'm amazed at how fearless she is! She will pick up any "creature" even if it's something momma hates, like bugs! I like gentle bugs...lol...not the kind that could potentially bite..lol...i'm a picky...

 She has her daddy's lips..lol...and hair, and personality but her momma's ATTITUDE....yes, i admitted it..and her particular-way as well...lol
God is sooo good to us and we often take it for granted...like yesterday..shelby and i were playing and havign a blast not knowing that lives could and would be changed with a horrific storm that hit WAAAYYY to close to home...my brother and his wife (Uncle Bear and Aunt Jessilu) live in Irving, TX and work in the Dallas/Plano area...it was hit VERY HARD and very fast....
My brother and SisInLaw are ok but could've been seriously hurt!! VERY EASILY! I had my prayer warriors on top of this one and God protected them..their truck isn't well but that's not important, their lives are!!
Here's the storm from my brother had to pull over because of...that's his truck in the background and the hail looks smaller than it was..it was the size of SOFTBALLS! he sent me video and it was awful!!
 His windshield.....

 and hood....
thank you Lord for keeping them safe!!
well that's all folks! I PROMISE TO KEEP THE NEXT POST SHORTER AND KEEP UP WITH THIS BETTER....LOL...
Planning to do an Easter post
