1st Show, Season 2 Success!

So this "Show Momma" was one proud chickadee this weekend!
We traveled to Sulphur Springs, TX and Shelby competed in the Red River Horse Club Open/AQHA horse show this past Saturday. None of us had shown at this show before so we didn't really know what to expect. We all had a great time and Shaw Performance Horses did EXCELLENT! Shelby was in 6 classes and she placed Top 3 in each class! She won 3-1st place, 2-2nd place and 1-3rd place! She also competed in a class she had never done, but has wanted to do for some time, Western Walk/Trot Trail. She placed 1st! Her riding was beautiful and so elegant! We now understand why they are taught such attention to details: how your hands are when you ride, posture, attire, toes out, head up, shape of the hat, etc... IT ALL WAS EVIDENT at this show who was a member of SPH! VERY Proud!!
