Our Future Mulerider

This has been quite a monumental week in Shelby's life! She got to be the Littlest Mulerider with 2 of her friends from school as well. SAU offers as one of the Continuing Education programs, "The Littlest Mulerider," where the kids can get up close and personal with Molly Ann (the mule) and Payton, the Mulerider.  Shelby learned about how Payton cares for Molly and all that she has to do to keep her happy, healthy and well.  She also got to learn about the saddle and the process Payton has to go through first before she can ride her.  The highlight was getting to ride Molly Ann.  It was sooo neat to be apart of this in her life! Seeing the PURE JOY on Shelby's face was enough to keep me going for years! She has her first riding lesson this week too w/ a very good coach and we can't wait to start this new journey as a rider!!
