Shelby and Hershey achieved great success at this year’s Color Breed Congress, earning three 1st place Congress Champion medallions in the Youth Walk Trot Barrels, Youth Walk Trot Trail, and Novice Youth Walk Trot Trail classes.
She also took home four 2nd place medallions in the Novice Youth Walk Trot Western Pleasure, Youth Walk Trot Western Pleasure, Novice Youth Walk Trot Horsemanship, and Youth Walk Trot Flag Race classes, three 3rd place medallions in the Youth Walk Trot Pole Bending, Youth Walk Trot Key Hole, and Youth Walk Trot Stake Race classes, three 4th place medallions in the Youth Walk Trot Horsemanship, Novice Youth Walk Trot Showmanship, and Youth Walk Trot Hunt Seat Equitation classes, two 5th place medallions in the Novice Youth Walk Trot Hunt Seat Equitation and Novice Youth Walk Trot Hunter Under Saddle classes, one 6th place medallion in the Youth Walk Trot Showmanship class and one 7th place medallion in the Youth Walk Trot Hunter Under Saddle class.
Shelby also, for the first time ever at this size of competition, won Reserve Grand Champion High Point for BOTH DIVISIONS she and Hershey competed in, Youth Walk Trot and Novice Youth Walk Trot. They brought home 2 very nice custom halter/bridle bags.
