This week at the Kee's...

I'm officially....carrying an orange.... lol...

and I do not like the word "Fetus" so from now on, Photoshopping that out and making it a BABY... CAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT IS..

momma is large and in charge.... nice pink balloon photo bomb... lol.. not insinuating anything though

 I'm not feelin as if I will puke every second of the day now, only when I brush my teeth, eat anything fast food, fried or greasy and if I don't get enough sleep...but hey, that beats 24/7!! I go back to the dr. Sept. 26th and can't wait! I wanna hear the baby again and HOPE that Josh gets to go w/me this time so he can hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I don't get another ultrasound until next month's visit when I'm 20 weeks and then we will find out if we're having a boy or a girl.  I'm honestly hoping for a boy.... :)
anyway...just a casual post this week, again... not a lot goin on so here's a photodump....

It was Yellow Day at PreK!

she is my daughter after all.. loves spaghetti O's.... mmm now i want some... don't judge :)

 

WOOT WOOT 14 weeks...

Ok, so from TheBump, this is what it says about week 14 of pregnancy.... I can't help but LOL...
"Hungry much? Now that you’re not feeling so queasy, you’re probably enjoying eating. A lot. Plus, you’re fueling baby’s growth -- which is happening at super speed at 14 weeks. Be sure to keep plenty of healthy snacks by your side just in case you get the munchies. It’s important -- for you and for baby -- that you don’t indulge in too many greasy, fatty foods, so you’re both getting the right nutrients. (Of course, the occasional bowl of ice cream is totally okay.) And we just wanted to remind you: eating for two doesn’t mean doubling your calorie intake. Not only have you gotten your appetite back at week 14, but you’ve probably also gotten some of your energy back, too. If you found yourself shying away from exercise during trimester one, it’s time to get back on track. Go take a walk"

"Now that you're hungry..."  WHO?? ME? definitely NOT hungry... still puking my face off at any given moment! I was in mid-"good morning" sentence to Shelby when I had to RUN to the bathroom... it has calmed down some (key word) but the way "The Bump" sounds I should be feeling awesome! Yeah right!! I'm far from that! LOL... However "The Bump" does say,
Not sure why they say "HE"....but I like it.. :) I hope it's a "he"! :)

• He's probably sucking his thumb and wiggling his toes in there!
• His kidneys are making urine, and his liver and spleen are doing their jobs, too.
• And he's growing lanugo, a thin, peach-fuzz-like hair, all over his body -- it will help him keep warm!

Awwww how sweet!!.... in other news...

Shelby is on the mend from a NASTY chest cold that has made her sound like a chain smoker. :( She was excited to go back to school today though! :)

13 weeks w/ #2!

I go too busy last week to do my "fruit post"...so here's this week! :) I'm sooo glad to be ALMOST out of the 1st trimester! it's been AWFUL, to say the least....constantly sick, feeling sick, or exhausted....along w/ my usually wife and motherly duties for Josh and Shelby.... it's WAAAAY harder the 2nd time than it was the first time! However, I DID FEEL THE BABY MOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME THE OTHER DAY! :) IT WAS SO NEAT TO FEEL THAT AGAIN! :)
I got to hear the baby's heartbeat last week and it was great! My appt. went well! I've gained nothing, and since my visit, I've actually lost 3 more lbs... not sure why but i'm not complaining and my dr isn't concerned...no complaints in that department! Doc also said i'm measuring well and just on track, which is shocking to me since i'm showing A LOT sooner than I did w/ shelby! I do remember why i LOVED maternity pants though! :) The jeans are HEAVEN! :) HEE HEE...

Last week also was a great week for shelby! She had an awesome 1st week of PreK, a new year of Awana kicked off at FBC and She started dance! She's taking 5 dance classes this year, one being Cheerleading! She's sooo excited! :)

What a great first week of a new year for sheebs! She also had fun after all her activities!! LOL.... never a dull moment w/ this child!

PreK Day 2

It's blowing my mind how Shelby's growing and changing....
I can't believe this was Shelby on this day 3 years ago...

And then here she is today on her 2nd day of PreK!....

Insanity!!! How did we allow this to happen?? Next year will be even harder! This would be her 3rd day of KINDERGARTEN next year!! OMG.... I cried yesterday when a momma who took her newly 1st grader to school this week for the first time that at Kindergarten, they don't even let you walk them to the door!!! O M G....

Shelby's Last First Day of PreK

I Can't wait to hear how her day went tonight!  She's been going to Miss Mandy's since July but today is the first REAL DAY of PreK.  She's in Miss Amber's Cat in the Hat class and has 18 classmates! She was excited to see her freshly painted cubby, circle time spot, handout pocket and I'm sure there's a lot more she's found that's new since last week at school. :)
I can't believe she's gonna be in Kindergarten a year from now...and we will have a 5 month old too! Wowza... Time is flying by WAAAAY too fast!!

Woot Woot Wednesday

It seems I have fallen behind on my blogging again...surprise surprise... LOL... this week's Woot Woot is all about the little things each new day brings!

wish she slept this well durin the night ! lol

Since Shelby has started PreK, which the official 1st day of school where they'll start curriculum is next week, she has loved it and loves all the kids! The teachers call her "little mama" because that's what she is... she always has been... haha... well, yesterday her favorite teacher, Miss Amber, tells me that Shelby took a little girl who cries everyday and most of the day, under her wing and befriended her and played with her all day to make her feel better. The little girl didn't shed ONE TEAR! This alone makes me feel like we are doing something right and raising her to be a generous and loving soul to all and especially those in need. My heart melted and YES I cried. Which I do at the drop of a hat here lately! I'm one proud momma for my little leader! Every day when we pick her up, she tells us about certain kids from that day and we just laugh and are amazed at how wise she is for a 4 year old.  I can't wait how she will treat her little brother or sister!

Speaking of, the nausea has subsided! Now I'm just hungry and if I let myself get hungry then it's not good... that's when I feel bad.  The issue at hand now is energy and staying awake. This baby is gonna be something! We go back Monday to the dr. and I can't wait to hear the heartbeat and see him/her again! Everyone is saying boy, which secretly, I hope for, but ya know, as long as we have a healthy baby, we will be happy with whichever gender! The worrisome mother in me is still in full-force though... since losing the baby earlier in the year, the what if's flood my mind daily but I know a greater, Higher Power than my worry and it's not of Him. :) Each day is a blessing and a struggle but it's a great new day and little blessings flood us each day!

11 weeks w/ baby #2

I thought this was fun when I was pregnant w/ Shelby so I figured I'd do it again w/ Baby Kee #2! :)

It's hard to believe how thing have and are changing and how fast they are changing... Shelby can't wait to know if she's having a baby sister or a brother... we hope a brother but will be elated w/ whichever God grants us....
