Woot Woot Wednesday

I"m still in prayer for Oklahoma and the families and I ask that you be to. My heart aches still for those that are still missing and the new reports of those lost. I designed this as a reminder...

 

Before the weekend, I decided I needed my hair colored (because YES i have greys) and shelby and momma went with me.  Something else exciting and AMAZING happened too!  Shelby got her 1st haircut... yeap... you read right!! HER FIRST HAIRCUT! Yes, she's about 3 weeks away from turning 4... haha. she was a champ and an angel! SOOO NOT HOW SHE IS WHEN I COME NEAR HER W/ A COMB, BRUSH or anything resembling a hair-utensil.. even threatened to use a "Dinglehopper" (fork) like Aerial! LOL... she was an angel! As her hairdresser was asking ME what I wanted done to her hair and me telling her it is her 1st hair cut, which she was shocked over, shelby chimes in and grabs her ends and says, "OH, you can just take a little off the ends to cut off all my dead ends." YES, THOSE WERE HER EXACT WORDS LIKE SHE'S AN EXPERT AND PRO AT THIS HAIR CUTTING BUSINESS! AHAHAH we all died laughing, me with hair dye dripping i was laughing so hard!! :) Here's the pics from this glorious, proud event...

hubby bought me new sunglasses....he even said i look "hot" i them :) oo laa laa... :)

This past weekend was the 25th annual Magnolia Blossom Festival and 24th World Championship Steak Cook-off.  Josh and I were over and in charge of the serving lines and needless to say, it was A HUGE job but definitely worth it! Spending the day with Josh and serving our community and all the communities that were there, was a blessing, a TIRESOME BLESSING, but a blessing...

 there were no pictures taken (except the courthouse pic) on Saturday because we were working TOO HARD to take pics! LOL....
this is how we recovered on Sunday from the 15 hour work day on our feet in the HOT 90+ degree HUMID AIR...

New Bizzy B's items!

Designed by me, Bekah of Bizzy B's..... every time I hear the word Oklahoma I've always sang "...where the winds go sweeping through the plains..." but now my heart aches because of this wind...

First off, In the light of all the storm turmoil and disaster, I can't imagine the pain the families of the children who were lost and those that died are feeling but I know today, it was like ripping my heart out to leave Sheebs....I hugged her extra tight and longer and made sure to get THE PERFECT kiss before I left and hear her say "I love you mommy" before I cried myself to work and prayed out loud for God to protect her and have her guardian angel and ALL OUR FAMILY watch over her and hold her EXTRA TIGHT.. i cannot imagine losing her and so I pray for comfort and peace for those that did....

I was asked to make a bag similar to one I made before and if you know me, you know I DO NOT make any bag the same so I changed it up a little bit.  This was ordered by a husband for his wife for Mother's Day! How sweet is that?! He told her last night and she loves it! I mailed it today and can't wait to hear from them when they receive them!

I also got to paint too! I painted this for a friend who ordered this for her little boy's class to sign the middle and give to the teacher at the end of this week! :)

Well, as I promised, here's the videos from the dance rehearsal/recital from shelby's 2nd year of dance...
she was sooo funny and had a blast!! the ballet video is rough ( a friend took it and it was last minute but it's still cute) :)
if in case you can't tell, Shelby's the one who's shakin it the most in each video LOL

In case you can't tell, she's NOT shy at all when it comes to dance or performing! :) I'm so glad she loves dance and can't believe she just finished her 2nd year! we are soo blessed w/ this little miracle I thought we would never have! :) How amazing God is!

2nd Year of Dance comes to an end....

wow.. i can't believe shelby's second year of dance has ended and all she's learned amazes me!! It makes my heart jump seeing how happy she is when she dances... She lights up on stage and it's soo cute!!!
I enjoyed seeing her and making her jazz class costumes and all those little divas shakin it! :)
Shelby's little heart is soo full of love, compassion, joy, and pureness that it makes me sad to know one day she'll grow up and all that will change :(.... but right now, i'm gonna soak up our precious Sheebee Shake!!
